The science of yogurt – 5 & 6 December 2016

To mark the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the passing of Prof. Elias Metchnikoff, pioneer of the science of ferments and first person ever to observe the health benefits of these microorganisms, Danone organised an event in honor of its founder, Isaac Carasso. His vision for the science of ferments led to the development of Danone’s first yogurt and to the current booming science around ferments. IPA Europe and its members attended this once in a lifetime event that took place on 5 December at the Pasteur Institute in Paris.
